HOT ! 30’s Silk Velvet Dress and Jacket Rhinestones

1930s luscious black velvet dress with peplum jacket. The dress has five diamond shaped silver rhinestone accent buttons down the front. The fabric at the top hangs down to form soft triangles that look like a bow. The skirt is gathered and drapes beautifully. ( there is a 7” hem so this was a longer gown at one time and could become so again if you like). There are no closures. The dress slips over the head.

The jacket has a Mandarin collar and 13 decorative knotted cord round buttons down the front. The closure is by snaps with a hook and eye at the bottom. Pretty peplum. The shoulders are full at the top and taper to the wrist with a notch and snap closure.

Dress snd jacket are unlined. No labels present. Very good condition. I noted a couple of holes on the jacket near the right shoulder seam as pictured.
