A fine antique 19th Century French carved oak Baroque Revival buffet, sideboard, bar back, circa 1860.The buffet is in two sections, both the back and base are lavishly carved, the back with a stepped cornice with lion\'s heads masks below with brass rings through their mouths. The back is supported by two pairs of carved & ribbed columns, with three carved panels behind.The base with two drawers carved with masks of mythical beasts, the drawers are flanked with the carved lions heads with corresponding brass rings. Below are a pair of carved paneled doors with carved figures to either side, the doors enclosing a single shelf, the buffet is raised on a stepped plinth.Condition is excellent, the cabinet is in very good condition, this remarkably carved sideboard/bar back is ready to grace your space.
