For an optimal candle-burning experience, follow these tips:

Initial Burn: When you light your candle for the first time, let it burn until the wax pool reaches the edges. For larger candles, this might take several hours. Wax has a “memory,” so if you extinguish it before the wax has fully pooled, it can prevent an even burn in future uses.

Wick Maintenance: Always trim the wick to 1/4 to 1/2 inch before each use to remove any excess soot or “bloom” from prior burns.

Safe Placement: Place your candle on a heat-resistant surface to prevent any potential damage.

Clean Wax Pool: Avoid letting wick trimmings, dust, or other debris accumulate in the wax pool, as this can affect the candle’s performance.

Check the bottom of your candle for any additional guidelines or warnings, including recommendations for when to stop using the candle.
