Founded in 1961 by Mr. John Laresca, a small custom-made shirt manufacturer opened in a port town in New Jersey. That same year, John F. Kennedy became the 35th President of the United States, and Barack Obama, who would later become the first Black president, was born in a hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. That was the same year that the company was founded. That company was \"INDIVIDUALIZED SHIRTS.\"

And to this day, the company has been proud of its name (Individualized Shirt = a shirt made just for one person) and has never forgotten the traditional American traditional shirtmaking for over 50 years, and as the top share holder in tailored custom shirts in the United States, it has provided shirts to many celebrities, including past presidents.
