Utterly magical and quietly cheeky, this set of four midcentury tumblers by Marc Cora features a richly detailed enchanted forest scene, brought to life with 22K gold accents. Unicorns leap within a golden-fenced glade, flanked by hounds, rabbits, and birds, all hidden among blooming vines and fantastical foliage in vibrant reds, blues, and greens.

This design is more than decorative—it’s a nod to the past. The imagery was inspired by the famous \"Unicorn Tapestries\" (1495–1505), a set of medieval masterpieces now housed at The Met Cloisters. These glasses echo the sense of myth and mystery those tapestries carry—only here, the enchantment fits in the palm of your hand.

Produced circa 1940–1963, these tumblers were boutique barware or novelty drinkware made for those who saw no reason a casual glass of water couldn’t feel like a moment from a fairytale. They were predominantly sold at Neiman Marcus during the Mid Century.

Condition:

Great vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Some very minimal surface wear to printed details consistent with age. The 22K gold remains vibrant and intact across all four glasses.
