Read the \"Shipping\" section below for more information.  Lovely, antique, Victorian style, twin-sized, poster bed set salvaged from an old home in Scranton, PA. The whole bed frame is made out of solid wood.The bed set includes a headboard, footboard, 2 wooden rails, and 4 wooden slats.The head & foot boards have a beautiful design with ornate carvings and curves. Notice the antique, wooden casters on the bottom of the head & foot boards!

Our carpenter thoroughly inspected the pieces and found no repairs to make, nor anything to reinforce. the head and foot boards just have nicks, light scratches, common wear for old used furniture. The worst damage we could find is a small break on the top of the headboard (see last photo). However, it was painted over by the previous owner, and poses no threat to the structural integrity of the piece. The set is strong, sturdy, and ready for a lifetime of service!
