Estuary is a handwoven natural fibre rug from our Modern Collection, crafted by skilled artisans using Etosha bouclé and Black Beauty–dyed Karakul wool. The combination of these fibres creates a crisp, contemporary composition where tonal contrast and precise patterning define the design.

The rug begins with a foundation of Etosha, a finely looped mohair bouclé yarn that forms a smooth, stable surface. This light, neutral base establishes structural consistency and allows the darker pattern fibres to stand out with clarity across the rug.

Across this foundation, Black Beauty–dyed Karakul wool introduces the defining pattern elements. Known for its dense, compact fibre profile, Karakul produces crisp lines and clearly defined forms that contrast sharply against the lighter ground.
