This Persian is a phenomenal, high quality Senneh that was hand knotted with a super tight weave and is highly esteemed by collectors. This beauty is very finely woven and is low pile with vibrant colors. Woven circa 1900, it features a wild and gorgeous design with outlined boteh motifs in the field and shows off sensational abrash (different shades of color) from the use of different lots of vegetable dyed wool. 

The antique rugs of Senneh are considered among the most refined expressions of Persian woven art. Their delicate designs are exquisite and are actually known for being the \"thinnest\" of all the Persians!

Being that these rugs are single wefted, they tend to wear less than other Persians that come from other villages and we almost always see them in small sizes (not room size).
