NeoGenesis MB 2 is a preservative free probiotic occlusive balm designed to restore calm and balance to very dry, reactive, or compromised skin. It uses a water free castor and sunflower seed oil base combined with five live symbiotic probiotic strains to support the skin microbiome and create a protective, moisture sealing veil over the surface.

The balm helps reduce the look of redness, dryness, and irritation while defending vulnerable skin from friction and external irritants. It is suitable for sensitive or barrier challenged skin, including those managing eczema, psoriasis, radiation related dermatitis, perioral dermatitis, or areas recovering from procedures, and is labeled oncology friendly.

Due to the natural oils and probiotic content, you may notice a very slight gritty feel in the jar. This texture melts as you warm the balm between your fingers and does not affect performance.

How It Works

MB 2 is an anhydrous balm, meaning there is no water in the base. A blend of castor seed oil, hydrogenated castor oil, and sunflower seed oil forms an occlusive layer on the skin that slows moisture loss and shields compromised areas from friction, wind, and environmental stress.

These symbiotic bacteria work with the existing skin microbiome. Directions

1. Use on clean, dry skin as the final step in your routine.

2. Dispense a small amount of MB 2 into clean hands.

3. Warm the balm between fingertips until it softens, then gently dab or press onto areas that need extra protection and comfort.

4. Use over your NeoGenesis serums and moisturizers, waiting for them to fully absorb before applying MB 2 so the live probiotics are not disrupted by preservatives in earlier steps.

5. Apply as needed on the face or body for ongoing barrier support, or use more generously on compromised areas under the guidance of your skincare professional or medical team.

Patch Test

Before first use, apply a small amount of MB 2 to a discreet area such as the inner arm or behind the ear and allow it to remain on the skin. If no redness, burning, or discomfort develops over the next twenty four hours, proceed with use as directed on the face or body. If irritation occurs during the patch test, remove the balm with a gentle cleanser and water and do not continue use.
