It provides thorough blemish prevention and anti-wrinkle care, leading to fresh, clear skin. The active ingredient, glycyrrhetinic acid stearyl SW, was the first in Japan to be approved for \"whitening\" and \"rough skin\" care. This product is the result of 40 years of natural science research, ingredient research, and product commercialization technology.

Sekka Sei has spent 16 years researching Japanese herbal plant-derived ingredients based on the concept of Kampo (Chinese medicine) before obtaining approval and commercializing the active ingredient \"W-Glycyrrhetinic acid stearyl\" derived from licorice. KOSÉ\'s original whitening and anti-aging active ingredients focus on two internal skin stagnation problems that impede transparency: melanin stagnation and skin irritation stagnation. Licorice-derived active ingredients prevent melanin production, preventing spots and freckles while also preventing roughness, leading to snowy, fresh, translucent skin.

To ensure stable blending of active ingredients, which are oil-based solids that do not dissolve easily in water, the product uses proprietary technology of high-pressure fine phospholipid emulsification in a bio-similar emulsion capsule. The small size of the capsule allows for a fresh feel and deep penetration into the stratum corneum, unique to medicated Setsu-Kaisei products. The skin feels fresh and refreshed, with moisture absorbed into the deeper stratum corneum without stickiness. The moisturizing effect lasts longer, enhancing the skin\'s transparency and maintaining its freshness, leading to bright and clear skin.

The product contains a high concentration of Japanese adlay extract to treat dullness caused by dryness, helping to bring out the skin\'s natural transparency. It also features a natural floral fragrance that is refreshing and clear, purifying even the dullness of the skin and mind. The environmentally friendly packaging uses FSC-approved paper for the outer packaging, eliminating conventional packaging film. CO2 emissions are reduced by using vegetable-based resin bottles (biomass PET), and the amount of resin was reduced through design and molding.

Directions for Use
