One of a pair of antique European Bergère chairs with beautiful, generous proportions. The chair was sourced for the purpose of re-upholstering it with painter\'s canvas to be painted by hand. 

The chair has largely been left in the original condition with some weathering to the wooden arms and back. The cane is intact but not for everyday use. To be considered an art object for occasional sitting.

The seat has been updated with a hand painted cherubic sky conceived and painted by artist Rose Fulbright. 

Hand painted in acrylic paint on cotton duck and finished with imitation gold leaf to a repair, kintsugi style, and furniture wax.
