Vaughan Bassett has developed a process that allows them to accelerate how wood ages and thus gives a very natural reclaimed wood appearance. They have also incorporated a Dovetail joint; which joins the bed posts to the headboard and footboard as well as dresser, chest and nightstand tops. This versatile collection has two outstanding beds in both Queen and King sizes. The signature bed is the Dovetail bed with the fabulous 6 X 6 footboard. Four terrific finishes; Java, Mystic Gray, Sun Bleached White and Natural. Through an innovative program with the Virginia Department of Forestry, Vaughan Bassett replaces every tree used to produce its furniture. Over the last 10 or so years; 1.5 million trees have been planted.
