PATO is a versatile furniture series created for today\'s high demands of functional furniture. With PATO, a new standard is set for the most basic of furniture- The stackable plastic chair. PATO meets FREDERICA\'s 100 year-old tradition of maximum of crafted quality to industrial products. With the PATO series we have set new standards for how to create a polypropylene chair. The shells have a carefully developed structure with a soft, yet wear and tear resistant, surface. Designers Welling/Ludvik have created a highly intelligent design where functional details add to a distinct expression and sublime usability.

PATO\'s simple shape seems almost obvious at first sight, however the soft, yet tight, visual lines makes it stand out with a tasteful elegance. By adding a bevelled edge, designers Welling/Ludvik apply a technique from the cabinet-makers tradition, which gives the chair a sense of handcrafted finesse, while also adding comfort where the body meets the chair\'s edge.

PATO is produced in environmentally friendly polypropylene and steel and every part is 100% recyclable and renewable. With it\'s shell designed in Denmark and all other assembly in Denmark as well every chair is fully quality controlled during all stages of the manufacturing process. The chair is tested for durability at the Danish Technological institute and passes at the highest level (Hard use in public spaces).
