The Story

A gorgeous antique piece from the early 1900s, perfect for holding your loved ones close. Created in rich 10 karat rosy-yellow gold, a repoussé design of leaves and berries make up the naturalistic form, quintessential in the naturalistic Art Nouveau style of the era. The reverse of the piece sees a hand engraved monogram ornate in style.

The locket shows its age in the best possible way with the rich patina making the raised work pop and gold glow. Measuring 1.33 inches tall with its bale, it\'s a great piece to wear alone or stacked with your favorite pieces.

Art Nouveau was a brief, but glorious period of design at the end of the 19th century, circa 1895-1905. Characteristic for its depiction of natural elements, particularly flora and fauna, beautiful women were often shown as well. This locket is a fantastic example of the art form.
