The stones are set in rhodium-plated costume metal with a luxurious bright white shine. The dainty buckle motif clasp is fabulous. A collectible piece, signed \"Pat.Pend Boucher.\" Circa 1952.

Marcel Boucher was one of the 20th Century\'s finest costume jewelry makers. He was born in Paris in 1898. After the end of World War I, Boucher apprenticed at Cartier. He transferred to New York City in the 1920s, where he became fascinated with costume jewelry\'s endless possibilities. Boucher\'s pieces were famed for looking real and following the fashions of the day.
