The seat features a quick-dry flow-through foam cushion wrapped in Dacron, offering sink-in comfort and excellent weather resistance. The included knife-edge back cushion is similarly treated to withstand outdoor conditions, including mildew, fading, and stains. For extra protection, custom covers for outdoor furniture are strongly recommended to extend the life of your furniture and preserve its aesthetic appeal.

Care + Maintenance

Teak

• 
  Maintain the original quality of the teak by applying Teak Cleaner at the beginning and end of each season.


• 
  To keep the surfaces clean from dirt, mold and mildew, periodically hose with water and Teak Cleaner, scrubbing in the directions of the grain.


• 
  For stubborn areas, use a power washer to clean. Hold the power washer approximately 30” away from the furniture and do not exceed 1200 PSI. Rinse and then allow to sun dry.


• 
  Exposure to moisture over time can raise the wood grain.


• A light sanding with fine 120-grit sandpaper smooths the surface.

Upholstery and Inserts

• To prevent embedded dirt stains, use a soft-bristle brush to frequently dust and remove dirt from the fabric.

For everyday stains:

• Use a mild cleaner with warm water or Fabric Cleaner and a soft-bristle brush and rinse thoroughly.


• Tip cushions on their sides with the zipper facing down and unzipped to ensure that all water drains.


• Once completely dry, apply cushion covers and follow our tips below to repel dirt and moisture.

For mold and mildew:

• Soak cushions in a 1:20 bleach-to-water solution, wash with diluted dishwashing liquid, and rinse thoroughly.


• Power wash at 1200 PSI only; higher pressure can damage fibers. Keep the washer about 30 inches away from the cushion.


• After washing, tip cushions on their sides with the zipper unzipped and facing down to let all water drain.

Olefin Rope

• 
  For spot cleaning: Brush off any dirt or debris with a soft bristle brush or spray off with a hose.


• 
  For a deeper cleaning: Mix warm water with a mild soap and clean with a soft bristle brush.


• 
  Do not use abrasive cleansers.


• Rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth.
