HOT ! Custom Profondo Rosso

Dario Argento’s 1975 Profondo Rosso is an operatic thriller that frequently wanders into moments of disarming humanity. The gift of the giallo, a mid century Italian genre of exuberantly stylish - and gruesome - films, was in conjuring glamour from pulp.

Our Profondo Rosso was brought to life from the remains of our holiday excesses. In the early days of the new year, after the fever quiets down, we cut and tear away scraps from inside our waste bins to make collages. Most are given as cards throughout the year, but six of the compositions fit together like a puzzle. Or a giallo.

All orders will be made to order and are submitted to our factory immediately upon receipt. Because of this, they have a longer lead time than our in stock items on the site, and once an order is placed it is not eligible for cancellation, changes, or return.

Timing: Please allow a total lead time is 9-12 weeks.

Color: We now have swatch cards available for purchase showing all 24 colors in our custom palette. If you plan to use the customizer to select your own colors, we highly recommend purchasing a swatch card prior, as colors may differ from how they appear on screen. Additionally, because each rug is made-to-order, yarn for custom orders is dyed in small batches, and may vary slightly from the original. If you end up ordering a custom rug, the cost of your swatch card will be fully refunded. Please reach out to us with your order number to initiate refund.
