Detailed information on Timuri Baluch Bagface - 2’ x 2’2

This Baluch rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century in Afghanistan.

It features a pattern of jumbled \"S\" filled polygons in multiple shades of pink and purple on blue ground. Plush silky wool with a dark but lustrous complexion. Finished with kilim edges of latch-hooked diamonds.

In very good condition, signs of wear consistent with age. medium pile, with a loose but hefty handle.
