Taylor + Thomas luxury vegan shoes are designed and manufactured in downtown Los Angeles. Sustainable materials – sourced from the USA and Italy – are interwoven with meticulous design details expertly crafted in Los Angeles.

• The upper material is a solvent-free PU made of water-based resins (standard PUs are made with chemical-based resins), and dyed using water-borne pigments.


• 50% of linings are derived from Bio Polyols, an inedible (but totally renewable) plant byproduct. This has a smaller environmental footprint than its petroleum-based alternatives, saving CO2 emissions.


• Orange suede detailing on the Jane strap and all heels cups is made from recycled plastic bottles.


• Memory-foam insoles are made from recycled rubber and castor beans, and are made by a closed-loop factory in Japan.


• Solid wood heels are made from FSC-certified sustainably harvested beech wood.


• Outsoles are made from recyclable rubber.


• The boxes are made from recyclable cardboard


• The dust bags are deadstock fabric and made by a local sewer in Los Angeles.


• Taylor + Thomas work with local shoemakers who are paid fair wages.

Each season, the brand donates 1% of its sales to charity, beginning with 1% For The Planet, a global movement inspiring businesses and individuals to support environmental solutions.
