Cyclamen is a handwoven natural fibre rug from our Floral Collection, crafted by skilled artisans using Bushveld White bouclé, orange-dyed Karakul wool, and Black Fynbos texture yarn. The combination of these fibres creates a structured composition where colour, texture, and material definition work together with clarity.

The rug begins with a foundation of Bushveld White, a softly looped mohair bouclé yarn that forms a light, stable base. Its consistent texture introduces subtle dimensionality while maintaining a calm, balanced surface.

Across this base, orange-dyed Karakul wool introduces the primary pattern elements. With its smooth and compact fibre profile, Karakul creates clearly defined forms that contrast sharply against the lighter bouclé background. The warm orange tone adds controlled colour while maintaining the rug’s refined, botanical character.

A third layer is introduced through Black Fynbos texture yarn, whose curled mohair structure brings additional density and tactile depth. This darker fibre allows finer details to stand out, adding contrast and reinforcing the structured pattern.

Each fibre serves a distinct purpose: the Bushveld White base provides stability, the orange Karakul delivers precise colour and form, and the Black Fynbos adds depth through texture.
