Main border in a floral arabesque and palmette design motif with great rhythm and excellent gem-like shades in vivid clarity. Colors and shades include: Ruby red, cochineal red, jade green, sapphire blue, dusty powder blue, pale teal, cherry red, blush, dusty rose, dark navy blue, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Original side cord selvages intact. Fully secured sides and ends. Even short original pile height across with some freckles surfacing to the front of the carpet shown as continuation of blue wefting which is very common for the type, age, and characteristics inherent to hand knotted rugs.
