Lovely vintage designer shoulder or messenger bag. I purchased it from an elderly wealthy Italian woman who told me her husband had purchased it for her in the 1950s. She seemed to think it was by a famous designer. It comes with the matching wallet. From my research, I have found that the \" original Prym 4 \" snaps were used on authentic designer bags after the second world war (reproductions used cheaper generic snaps). I have not been able to identify the maker but the bag is very well made. It does exhibit some typical wear from use but I feel this adds to its authenticity, warmth, and charm. It is in VERY good serviceable condition and could be worn with pride for decades to come. This kind of quality and design was ahead of its time and is still as fashionable today as it was 60 yrs ago.
