HOT ! What a gift! Late 1800\'s Wagner Sidney Krumkake waffle iron. Makes delicious pizzelles and waffle cones!

This Swedish style Krumkake iron was a popular dessert or snack made with a decorative flair! Similar to Italian Pizzelle‘s they make a light delicious treat. Cover them in powdered sugar, GREAT for holidays and dessert trays! Wagner made only a few of these style irons, and they are very hard to find.  If you are an iron aficionado, a collector of unique pieces, or just looking for a one of a kind, this is the one!  Its sizing looks similar to a #6 waffle iron so its small.  It was originally cast and coated with nickel so there are remnants of that coating, giving a very unique patina.  This is a flip style iron so you pour in the batter, cook it on one side, flip it over with a fork or utensil and then cook the other.
