Antique Copper Pot, French, Completely Hand Made Heavy Pot with Bronze Handle 30 x 35 x 25 Centimetres, Beautiful Condition, Exceptional QualityAn absolute treasure. This stunning heavy hand made copper pot was made in the middle of the 19th century and has been resident at the Chateau Roque near Agen in France since it was made.As you can see from the photos of the interior, this beautiful pot was actually used for a long time at the chateau. It is of exceptional quality being made entirely of thick copper hand beaten over a broze base with a bronze handle. Obviously the chateau had a fair few pots and this one clearly did not get an awful lot of use which is why it is in such splendid condition with just one small dint in the bottom edge which could easily be tapped out.When I say it is heavy - it weighs just over 4 kilos so it is a very substantial piece.It measures 30 centimetres across the top while the base is 35 centimetres and it stands 25 centimetres tall, not including the handle.
