What a unique piece! Enameled cast iron was something that a few of the foundries did back in the early 1900‘s but it wasn‘t common. In this blue line of coatings, you will see more often the 11 cup muffin gem pan or possibly the turks head style pan. But every now and then we see one of these. It‘s not certain whether this was done by Wagner in house, or if it was enameled after production by a third party, but it is a cool one to have. It has been scrubbed and cleaned but not stripped to protect the surface. See pics for details.

This 1930‘s unmarked Wagner was manufactured exactly the same as every other Wagner except it did not have the logo. Why? It was made for department stores that wanted to sell cast iron without a logo on it! This skillet moves when prompted so best for gas or electric coil and not glass
