They are entirely safe, with an Oxygen Depletion Sensor that automatically shuts down the heater before oxygen levels become unsafe. Each unit is tested at the factory to ensure the ODS system works appropriately. Hearthrite vent-free infrared heaters offer an impressive 99.9% AFUE efficiency. Equipped with a standing pilot and push-button ignition, heat is just seconds away—no electricity needed! This vent-free heater is designed for wall installation, but an optional floor stand is available.

Professional installation by a certified gas technician is required. Propane Gas models must be connected to a 100 lb or larger tank with an external regulator (output of 11-14\" WC). A qualified service contractor should handle repairs and must comply with local codes.
