Compatible with typical soils, mixed media blends, coco-coir, nutrient solutions, and other types of soul. However, this product is incompatible with large void media like Perlite or media that can be permanently distorted like Rockwool. 

App Connected Measurements

Once connected to the Pulse App via Bluetooth, it sends measurements directly to a mobile device. If a Bluetooth connection is unavailable, the device stores over 2000 measurements on its internal memory until the connection is restored.

Easy Calibration

The device is calibrated using a selection of healthy plants. The manufacturer says that growers should select two to five similar, healthy, and well-irrigated plants to take readings from, using the calibration process found in the Pulse App. After the calibration measurements are taken and logged, measurements can be taken from other plants.  

The device should be regularly calibrated for the most accurate results.
