This intake fan is typically used in a crawl space. The fan is attached to a 10 x 22 inchmounting plate designed to fit behind most standard 8 x 16 inch vent openings. Theplate is to be attached to the wall. The fan also has a louver which means that the crawlspace remains closed when the fan is not running.
