HOT ! Philip Kelvin LaVerne Creation of Man Bronze Cocktail Table

Stunning midcentury modern etched bronze veneered coffee cocktail table designed by father and son Philip and Kelvin LaVerne. The large table depicts Michelangelo\'s creation of man image as seen in the Sistine chapel etched into the top and signed by Philip and Kelvin LaVerne after Michelangelo. The top is supported by neoclassical fluted columns in patinated bronze mounted to round bronze plinths. The rectangular top has gracefully curved or clipped corners. This particular model is very unique in that it has round bases for the column legs that beautifully finishes or grounds the design. The bronze has a lovely aged patina and the table has a very dramatic profile.
