A finely crafted and characterful table from the School of Nancy, showcasing the artistry of French decorative arts in the early 20th century. Made in Indian rosewood and mahogany, the table features a striking inlaid motif to the top and is signed “Gus” within the marquetry.
The top is designed with a parquetry of rosewood squares, beautifully offset by the organic, floral-inspired inlay detail — a hallmark of the Art Nouveau influence of the School of Nancy. The geometric yet soft tapering legs and refined proportions make this table suitable as a centre, side, or occasional table, blending decorative appeal with functional elegance.
