HOT ! Hickory King Corn Tortilla Chips

Our corn tortilla chips are made with certified organic open-pollinated Hickory King white heirloom corn, grown for us by an Amish organic farmer in Bath County, Kentucky using only draft mules for power the entire growing season. The corn is dried on the stalk, harvested by the ear, and shelled from the cob on an antique shelling machine. The whole kernel corn is then cleaned and made into corn chips by a small artisan tortilleria to our specifications, using our corn and the nixtamil process to make heirloom corn chips ready to eat.

Hickory King corn is a special variety of corn that has grown in our area for over 300 years, and has a higher sugar and protein content than most other corn varieties. This makes for an extra delicious chip — so good you won’t even need salsa!

Our Hickory King white corn tortilla chips are cooked in sunflower oil and are lightly salted. That\'s all!

Chips are packaged in 12 oz. bags. Bags are dated for freshness. Will stay fresh for 2-3 months.
