Detailed information on Vintage Single Notch Lodge #6 Cast Iron Skillet
Vintage #6 cast iron skillet made by Lodge. The single notch in the heat ring dates it to the 1930\'s. Otherwise, it is marked with just a 6 and a raised 2 on the underside and has no markings on the top of the handle.
Vintage estate find, please review all photos. The underside is in excellent condition and will look great on display. The cooking surface has some light rust pitting and has some shiny spots despite multiple rounds of seasoning. Not cracks or chips, sits flat at room temperature. Professionally restored via electrolysis and seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil. Ready for use or display.
