HOT ! Nanten – Natural Color TENUGUI

This tenugui features a lucky motif of nanten (heavenly bamboo) with its bright red berries and green leaves. Traditionally believed to “turn misfortune into good fortune,” nanten is cherished as a symbol for warding off bad luck and inviting good fortune. The vibrant red berries, ripening from late autumn into winter, add a festive splash of color to any space.It can be displayed vertically or horizontally, bringing elegance and cheer to celebratory occasions or everyday interiors. Using the chusen dyeing technique, artisans hand-dye four colors — red, orange, green, and deep green — to create depth and a rich, layered effect across the tenugui.
