The stitching on both sides is woven with thick linen color-coded thread (red, black, and white).

The two openwork weaves in the center are an accent. The openwork weaves are woven with high density to prevent the threads from coming loose.

The medium size is the same size as a tenugui towel, so you can wrap it around your neck or head.

Of course, since it is made of 100% linen, it can also be used as a dishcloth or table runner.

The small size is the size of a hand towel.
