This fabric brand was born in Kamikatsu, Tokushima Prefecture. This town is blessed with abundant nature, abundant trees and mountain water, and produces wooden fabrics made from thinned cedar trees. This fabric is then used to create everyday items such as towels and sponges. This natural fabric has a light, smooth feel like linen and dries quickly. It\'s perfect for humid climates, and its texture becomes softer with each wash.

About Kamikatsu Town

Surrounded by nature, Kamikatsu is the smallest town in Shikoku. We often visit here to find healing. Known worldwide as the town that made the \"Zero Waste Declaration,\" Kamikatsu is a pioneer in environmental activism. Zero waste refers to the elimination of waste, garbage, and extravagance, and aims to create a society that produces no waste. There\'s a large garbage station in the center of town, where garbage is separated into 13 categories and 45 sorts. The town\'s resident recycling rate is 79.7% (as of 2017), one of the highest in the country. KINOF is made from biodegradable materials, and the packaging is simplified and no plastic is used.
