Designer Chris Mestdagh

Born in Belgium in 1959. After graduating from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, he worked in apparel design.He then launched his own brand, ‘Chris Mestdagh’, in 1988, expanding his scope beyond apparel to offer comprehensive lifestyle proposals.He currently works as a freelance designer active in multiple fields.He consults for and develops designs for Belgian lifestyle brands while also collaborating on design projects with various Japanese brands.

[Introduction]The inspiration for this collection came from a road trip through the major cities of Andalusia, located in the southwestern corner of Spain.From Cordova to Cadiz, and from Granada to Seville, architecture, design, and art rooted in the rich cultural traditions of Islam and Christianity display a magnificent fusion.

[RIBERA]Ribera\'s street art is vibrant and diverse, deeply rooted in the cultural identity of neighborhoods named “Ribera” scattered throughout Spain and Latin America. From the bold murals of Barcelona\'s La Ribera district to the expressive graffiti of Mexico City\'s Santa María la Ribera neighborhood, these districts embody the pinnacle of urban creativity.

The front is woven from soft, gentle gauze, while the back features a thick, long-pile towel with a pleasant texture.
