HOT ! Ageless Velvet Rose, Red and 18kt Gold Fused Glass Necklace

The item listed is a fused glass necklace that was handcrafted in my studio in Washington, NJ. This necklace was created using cut red glass. The glass was then layered and pieced together before being heated in a kiln to fully fuse the glass. I then apply an 18kt gold transfer which is permanently adhered onto the glass at 1325° in a 2nd kiln firing to achieve that antiqued gold look. It was then shaped on a grinder and after that I drilled a hole into the top of the glass so that a pinch bail could be attached. Afterward, it was put in the kiln a third time to be fire polished in order to give it a final shine. This necklace is approximately 3/4 inch X 1 1/4 inches and includes an 18 inch bronze cable chain. It will ship in a lovely gift box with an organza ribbon.
