The Puakenikeni flower is one of the most popular amongst locals. These fragrant blooms start off a creamy white color on their first day, slowly transitioning to a buttery yellow by the second day, and finally taking on a sherbet orange hue around the third day. Puakenikeni translates to the \"Ten Cent Flower\". Our custom beads are a dainty version of these flowers, measuring around the size of a dime!

These beads are designed by us and produced exclusively for Yay Hawaii. They are made from a hard resin, and airbrushed with their respective colors. They can get wet, however since they are airbrushed we encourage you to remove your jewelry, especially necklaces and bracelets, before showering or sleeping. The repeated rubbing of the flowers and exposure to soaps can slowly result in the paint wearing away. Upon inspection, these beads may appear to have small holes on the petals. These are popped bubbles that formed during the creation process. They are very small and almost unnoticeable unless looking closely. 

Metal

Made from your choice of gold fill or sterling silver metal. These can get wet and will not tarnish. Both metals are nickel free and good for sensitive skin.
