HOT ! Vintage Fabulous 50s/60s Glossy Brown Turtle Skin Handbag

This is quite a large turtle skin handbag in a rich deep brown colour. It is in excellent condition, in the hi gloss glazed finish found on most turtle skin handbags. This is rare and unusual as the handle is integral to the handbag which gives it a really iconic 50s/60s vintage look. It is in excellent condition, the skins have no cracking or splitting and very little evidence of wear, even to the corners, no loss of shine or scugffing with the base being protected by gilt studs. The attractive lift up clasp in gilt has no loss of shine and no tarnish,similarly the gilt frame which is also in excellent condition. The inside is lined in brown suede leather with zipped pockets edged in turtle skin and a slip pocket in turtle skin and retaining the vanity mirror. The lining is clean and with no marks or stains or envidence of use. The handbag is also a very good size for all essentials and quite robust with rigid sides.A very stylish handbag, in fantiastic condition, made from now very rare and collectable turtle skin, in a very wearable colour and style which could be dressed up for smart occasions but would be just as gorgeous worn casually.
