HOT ! Coconut + Lime 500ml Candle

Our Coconut & Lime Candle is the ultimate refresher. A tantalising fusion of fresh coconut, and lime and verbena soothed by luscious vanilla.

Our large candles are hand-poured into our 500ml amber jars with our signature Oré mi label and a black gloss lid.

This candle burns for up to 70 hours. 

Also, to stay true to our environmental commitments we offer you the opportunity to buy our candles with our without a lid. Which gives you the option to reuse your lid from your old Oré mi candle. 

SCENT STORY

Coconut is such a fundamental ingredient in my life – I use it on my hair, I use it on my skin, I use it to cook. I created the Coconut & Lime scent to pay homage to this magical, moisturising ingredient.

It is blended with lime, which is a fundamental ingredient used in all Nigerian kitchens, and which gives it a warm, tropical feeling. When I burn this candle I immediately feel like I’m on holiday, the sun beating down on my skin and the waves lapping nearby. I wouldn’t have it any other way. 

OUR COMMITMENT

Each time an Oré mi product is purchased 2.5% of the profits is given to a mental health charity focused on supporting black/brown people e.g. Black Minds Matter. 

INGREDIENTS

We use soya wax, fine fragrance oils, and cotton-core wicks in our candles. All of our candles are vegan friendly and cruelty free.

HOW TO USE CANDLE

Trim that wick! Before lighting, trim your candle wick so its no longer than 6mm.

Safety first: never leave a candle burning unattended, and don\'t burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

Stop burning your candle when only 7mm of wax remains.

Once the candle\'s gone, you can reuse the jar!

Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the jar each burn to prevent pooling. This is especially important for our Large Candles.
