Material Highlights

Yakusugi (Yakushima Cedar):

Yakusugi is a rare cedar tree that grows above 500 meters on Japan’s Yakushima Island. Cutting live trees is banned, so only fallen or buried wood (Domaiboku) is used, making it a precious, high-quality material.
